Lands three triples in loss
Brooks continues to feature more on the offensive end, scoring double-digits for the seventh straight game. Although his scoring output has been adequate, his peripheral contributions have left a lot to be desired. The Rockets have now lost four straight contests and will look to turn things around against the Timberwolves on Thursday.

Standout performance in loss
Sheppard produced easily the best performance of his young career, putting up career-high numbers across the board. With the Rockets down on troops, Sheppard outplayed Aaron Holiday, flashing the upside many thought he had coming into the season. While this was an encouraging performance, Tari Eason could return for the next game after sitting out Tuesday on the second night of a back-to-back. When the Rockets are healthy, Sheppard is unlikely to be anything more than a depth piece.

Monster double-double in defeat
Sengun recorded the first game of his career with at least 20 points and 20 boards, albeit in a losing effort. The big man returned from a three-game absence Tuesday due to a left calf contusion, racking up his 22nd outing with 20-plus points. The All-Star's ability to stuff the stat sheet has made him a top option across fantasy formats this season, and he has already logged 29 appearances with a double-double or better through 47 regular-season games.

Good to go against Brooklyn
An illness prevented Landale from playing in Monday's 124-118 loss to the Knicks, but the fourth-year center has been cleared to play in Tuesday's bout. He played in the Rockets' three games prior to Monday's absence and averaged 4.7 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.0 assists over 13.3 minutes per contest over that span.
