Produces off bench Monday
Alex Sarr continues to struggle on offense, but since the Wizards are going through a rebuilding process, there's not a realistic scenario in which Valanciunas will replace Sarr at center any time soon. The veteran big man is averaging 11.8 points, 7.8 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.0 blocks per game in his last six outings off the bench, and he remains a decent option in most fantasy formats despite his bench role.

Co-leads Washington in scoring
Carrington was one of three Washington players who scored 18 points in this thumping loss to the Knicks, and the rookie out of Pittsburgh continues to play at a high level while standing out in his first-year class. Carrington has been ever-present in the Wizards' starting lineup in November, averaging 10.3 points, 5.7 assists, 4.8 rebounds and 1.7 steals per game across nine contests.

Limited to 19 minutes Monday
Brogdon made his first start of the season Monday but didn't have a good performance, although to be fair, the entire Wizards team looked overmatched on both ends of the court. Brogdon will probably remain in the starting lineup as a way to enhance his trade value before the deadline, and that should boost his fantasy upside once he shakes off the rust from the extended absence.

Gets starting nod Monday
With Bilal Coulibaly (head) ruled out, Brogdon will make his first start of the season after missing significant time due to a right thumb injury. The veteran point guard struggled in his return to game action in Sunday's loss to the Pistons, during which he posted one point (0-4 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT) and two rebounds across 22 minutes off the bench.

Won't play Monday
Coulibaly will miss his first game of the season due to a head injury he sustained after taking an elbow to the mouth during Sunday's loss to the Pistons. While the second-year wing is sidelined, the good news is he appears to have avoided a concussion and will have multiple days to rest and recover before attempting to suit up Friday versus Boston. In Coulibaly's absence, Corey Kispert, Kyshawn George and Malcolm Brogdon are candidates for increased roles, while Jared Butler and Johnny Davis could enter the rotation as well.
