Tyson got his first career start Wednesday and he ended up doing it all for Cleveland while posting a double-double and putting forth the best performance of his young career in a winning effort. Tyson, who recorded team-high marks in assists and steals, set career-high marks in every statistical category, previously tallying at least three points in two outings this year.

Shines again in starting lineup

Jerome got his second start of the year while Darius Garland (groin) and Isaac Okoro (ankle) were inactive, and once again boosted Cleveland offensively while burying a game-best total from three and ending with a team-high scoring total. Jerome set a new season high in threes made as well as points scored, notching his third outing of the year with at least 20 points. Jermone has been strong from deep over his last few games, connecting on at least four threes in two of his last three contests.

Jerome will make his second start of the season after delivering 24 points and eight assists in his prior appearance with the first unit. Jerome is averaging 15.0 points, 2.8 rebounds and 4.8 assists while hitting 60.9 percent of 9.2 shots per game across the five contests in which he has exceeded 20 minutes of action this season.

The Cavaliers are thin in terms of their wing depth and will give the rookie the first start of his career. Tyson will play alongside Ty Jerome, Donovan Mitchell, Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley. The rookie out of California only averages 4.3 minutes per game in six outings this season, but he's bound to experience an uptick in his minutes in this contest.
